Our village hall has recently been fully refurbished with new kitchen, toilets and insulation making the hall warm and welcoming. It is spacious and well-equipped with a capacity up to one hundred people set in a large, attractive playing field with ample parking for all your needs and includes easy wheelchair access.

The location is convenient for both Orford and Woodbridge. Snape Maltings is just a short drive away with the renowned concert venue and scenic views of the Alde estuary, a choice of dining and shopping, as well as a regular farmers' market. Nearby Rendlesham Forest and Butley Creek offer a choice of scenic walks.

The facilities are ideal for any occasion - parties, weddings, musical events, club gatherings, fitness classes and with parquet flooring it is ideal for dancing. For business meetings a smaller area can be sectioned off. The hall is well heated for times when the weather is chilly. The extensive playing field offers the opportunity for the erection of tents or marquees and the play area makes it the perfect venue for family social events and children’s parties. The hall and kitchen are very well equipped and the use of the kitchen is included in all bookings at no extra cost.

We aim to make your use of the hall as carefree and as flexible as possible. We offer competitive, flexible hire rates with discounts for residents of Butley, Chillesford, Capel St. Andrew and Wantisden.

Our lovely re-furbished pub, the Butley Oyster, is within two minutes walk and offers real ale and good pub food for those planning to camp overnight.
